I opened my eyes, lungs filling up with air
Heart beating like drums, I cannot help but stare,
Stare down into the eyes that are fixed upon me
Asking themselves if they believe what they see
A man moving like a man,
Blending with the environment,
Moving like a ninja in an urban land
They gaze in amazement,
As rubber on pavement make sweet love
Grinding itself into a sweet symphony,
He moves freely every wall crumbling down faster than they stand
Every fence closing down, now an open door
Feet moving faster, stretching, every move unplanned
He jumps, land, roll, accelerates at the speed of light
A wall blocks his path he simply climbs
Out of breath,
A gap now separating him from his goal
He breathes in, breathes out
He looks down, my eyes gazing upon him
Wondering what’s it like up there
And then he leaps.
