Nothing but the gun shots,
Showing off what they’ve got.
Being too hot to trot.
They’re just doing their thing,
Wearing all their sweet bling,
Trying to make the girls sing.
Always in the media,
Doing nothing but deceiving ya.
Calling themselves gangstas.
Thinking that their so cool,
When really they’re the true fools.
Never going to school.
Families faced with prejudice,
No worse off then the rest of us.
The segregation’s ludicrous.
Never having any choice,
But chilling with them home boys,
So they can afford simple toys.
Never in a good home,
Looking for family as they roam.
But winding up all alone.
Doing nothing but drugs,
Being fragile thugs.
Wanting nothing but hugs.
Losing their own sanity,
To their growing vanity.
Destroying humanity.
From the moment of conception,
They’ve had different perceptions.
It sounds like nothing – but deception.
