Lemmie tell you about the ghettos and the projects
So please take a minute to bring it into prospect
There are over 20 government housed neighborhoods in Toronto alone
When someone wants a tuition all they can get is a loan
With an education they could get a better job
But instead they're living in a troubled neighborhood getting robbed
I'll tell two stories to change your state of mind
I'll go straight to the point so I don't waste your time
A mother earning money barely enough to feed
Her two sons who spend most of their time out there smoking weed
Cuz the sons treat the neighbors which are convicts like contacts
Learning how to roll a splif and car jack
She used to live her life without tribulations
But with kids on the way there would be no money for education
Stuck in a prism of her own reality
Because the government has kept her in a poor mentality
All year round I see needy children on TV
But there's two reasons that I don't give freebees
Firstly, are the children really getting the full 10x10
Or does some of it go for the plane ticket, host, and camera men
Secondly, the needy parts of the world are constantly depending on us
And a solution like self sufficiently seems to be an issue no one
wants to discuss
So instead of the government giving money out to the poor so they can
be more stable
They should dish out tuition so people can become more able
The government tries to keep the poor where they are
Suck in their financial status so they won't get far
