While sitting under a willow tree

Starring at the light blue sky,

Pondering to lonely self,

Over again and over again.

I have never experienced this before,

Risking everything waiting for a person,

To finally come back,

To finally make my coldness disappear.

Some people say we were made,

To live alone and die alone.
But that is not me.

I stand boldly waiting till the end.

I know there will be a return,

But just not sure when,

And just not sure how,

But there is always an everlasting light.

As days go move forward,

And sleepless nights continue,

My one true feeling,

Will never fade away.

In the large mysterious galaxy, somewhere out there,
When we both look up at the nightly star-covered sky,

And deep into the sight of a white glistening moon,

That we do come across the same two stars.

Together, we once shared everything,

Our deepest of secrets and our fondest of memories,

And that one eternal promise,

That we shall be together forever.

In spite of everything,

I still remember the day we first met,

From our first timid kiss,

To our first tearful goodbye.

You promised by Monday,

That you would be home,

And we will be reunited,

To live together forever.

Now several gruelling weeks have passed,

And that expected Monday never came.

I began to start worrying,

Really wondering if you forgot.

But I am still here waiting,

Thinking of the wonderful memories,

And of that one fading promise,

And still sitting and waiting for that beautiful Monday.
